I got a similar feedback from my colleauges who have also subscribed
to this mailing list. I'm sure *all* of members are not like thse, but
whatever small number of people who think of themselves as "1337"
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leet) give rest of the pluggies a bad
name.

I have a suggestion, see if it makes sense:
Since the mailing list is moderated, why don't we reject the mails
which don't really contribute but just ridicule ?
I know that messages get rejected just because the reply starts at the
top rather than *after* the original post (which in itself is
ridiculous rule, but I respect it none-the-less)
I'm not sure how many admin(s) this mailing list have or whether it is
single person. But my suggestion will work only if admin(s) agrees to
this suggestion (and not reject this message itself ...hehe...)
