A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text. Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing? A: Top-posting. Q: What is the most annoying thing in e-mail?
A: No. Q: Should I leave quotations after my reply? More in the proper place. Lets consider this logically. First, when you reply, your mail, including the quoted text is supposed to have only what is relevant to the context of the reply. All other parts should be trimmed out. If this is adhered to, it is much easier to read the reply in the context of the conversation. This applies not just to archives, but to any mailing list, where many people might not be following the whole thread and want the relevant context before the actual reply. Which is why I think it's NOT ridiculous. -aditya -- ______________________________________________________________________ Pune GNU/Linux Users Group Mailing List: (plug-mail@plug.org.in) List Information: http://plug.org.in/mailing-list/listinfo/plug-mail Send 'help' to [EMAIL PROTECTED] for mailing instructions.
