That's absolutely fine, you do not have to defend yourself. Your work and especially your attention to detail is more than appreciated! Please consider my questions about the libdca package as "spring cleaning". As you can see on PET, we do have a lot of packages, and I think being honest with the maintenance status on our packages is the best way to assess how our scarce human resources are spent best.
