The Logic Seminar will meet in the graduate common room from 4.15 to 5.45pm on Thursdays this term, beginning on 17th October (i.e. next week, not this). Apart from the first meeting, which is a visiting speaker, the seminars will be on themes from Frege's philosophy (tying in with my lecture course) as follows:
17 Oct: Visting speaker 24 Oct: Begriffsschrift 31 Oct: Frege's early philosophy of logic 7 Nov: Grundlagen 14 Nov: Frege-Hilbert Correspondence 21 Nov: Mature semantics 28 Nov: Grundgesetze 5 Dec: Thoughts The main target audience is MPhil students interested in the philosophy of logic, but those doing Part II Philosophical Logic are also welcome to attend.
