Dear all, The logic seminar meets every Thursday during term at 4.15pm in the Graduate Common Room. Each meeting lasts about an hour and a half, and begins with a short introduction to the reading by one of the participants.
This term the seminar will be devoted to themes from the philosophy of Gottlob Frege. The first meeting will be on the 4th of October, and will be on Paul Benacerraf's classic paper 'Frege: the last logicist'. I will introduce. The paper can be downloaded by following the link on this webpage: https://sites.google.com/site/lucaincurvati/teaching/logic-seminar The page also contains a provisional schedule for the rest of term. The seminar is intended primarily for graduate students, but is also open to Part II students. Indeed, the seminar should be very relevant for those students taking the Philosophical Logic or the Mathematical Logic paper, and they are encouraged to come. For any questions, please feel free to contact me. Best wishes, Luca _____________________________________________________ Sent by the CamPhilEvents mailing list.
