We have hesitate between both on top and bottom for the "illar" and we are not realy decided yet so we will Take care of the comments !
For the wave it's because "Pillar" is a pillar for a pier which is above the sea that represents "seaside". I asked Damien Cassou for the story so we decided to add this symbols So the columns represents Pillar which support the pier. And why is there a wave under pillar? I think that things in a logo have to be symbolic and I do not find anything from the wave.
