Yeah, that is probably the way to go.
I wrote this message to their support just now:
"Hello, as I am completely satisfied with the laptop itself(minus the pixel
part), perhaps I could get partial refund/discount for the pixel part?

I would like to receive reasonable discount for faulty screen(1 dead
pixel), which is probably not enough for screen replace, but is not
tolerable for full price/working order laptop.
