Hello.
My company is setting up an online customer service chat support. I was
wondering if anyone knows or has experience of Open source/Proprietary
live chat software, ideally for the Linux environment (we have moved all
our systems to Linux and are using 100% Open source software). We are
looking at deploying the chat software on the company's various
websites, with a few features in mind:
- live visitor statistics, such as the visitors' duration on the web
page, and maybe which website they have come from etc,
- as the software will be on various websites so for the live chat
person to know which website the chat has originated from,
- we are also looking at proactive chat option.
