So, it's here. What do people think?
I have to say that having managed to get used to my min/max/close icons being
on the left I was prepared to give Unity a decent go, but I just can't get on
with it. I can see that I could get used to Unity in principle, but in
practise I found too many things didn't work for me. Eg: I have Vuze (aka
Azureus) as a binary install in /opt/vuze - can I find a way to link it onto
Unity's menu? (If the answer was "yes" I wouldn't be complaining!)
I installed OpenSUSE on a test machine at the weekend with KDE and I think I
might get used to that instead (although Kubuntu remains an option if I want
to stick with what I know).
Having choice is great, provided you know which choice you want!
