Thats the sad thing about computers these days. They get 'destroyed' when they could be used elsewhere. Removing a hard disk only takes a couple of moments. Im sure the same thing happened back in the 80s when they got rid of the BBC computers from schools. Luckily I have a few working models in my collection!
