Jessica,

Did the pest control company you work with conduct a full inspection of the
house and grounds? Sometimes, treating structural members is needed to deal
with an infestation. Sometimes subslab treatments. Also, baits are often an
option. An inspection is needed to determine the best course of action, which
could include correcting any conducive conditions.

Subject: [PestList] Phantom insecticide for subterranean termites

Hi all,

I work at a historic house, and yesterday we noticed a swarm of subterranean
termites inside the house in two rooms. This is the first time (in decades)
that we've had a swarm. Our exterminator suggests using Phantom insecticide
around the exterior perimeter of the historic house vs. using Termidor. Is one
preferred over the other? Is Phantom okay to use on the exterior?

Any feedback is much appreciated!

Thanks!
