Hi, I worked for 13 years for the Bora-Care manufacturer. 1- Bora-Care is a better choice than Tim-Bor. 2- it must be applied to bare wood 3- due to the life cycle, any pupated beetles will still emerge as adults 4- once treated, you will never need to treat again ( assuming no water exposure) 5- Dan Suiter at UGA did research in a crawlspace. There are also Forest Service papers and Master’s theses on Bora-Care. 6- As with any pesticide it is safe when used as directed, once dry, there is no longer any dermal exposure.
I will be happy to answer any other questions you may have, Janet ja...@jakconsultingservices.com 865-360-1988 On Wed, Mar 23, 2022 at 3:06 PM 'Gayou, Audrey' via MuseumPests < pestlist@googlegroups.com> wrote: > Does anyone have experience using Bora-Care to treat wood infested with > powderpost beetles?
