+1 on the overall project premise.
Some things to sort out include MIB namespace, ie, would this exist
under private.enterprises.sun.blah or ... ?
Also, should this project be extended beyond just a net-snmp module,
and perhaps instrumenting the kernel more with kstats (ie, counters in
fp(7d), which is something near and dear to my heart) which would of
course then bubble up to the proposed?
