I've been living in the same location for almost 41 years now. Twenty years ago, we decided that rather than moving, we would do a major renovation which involved parking a storage trailer on the driveway and moving out of the house for the summer while we added a second level to our bungalow. That was way more stressful than just moving to a house more suited to our evolving desires.
