The HN-7 may work OK but it was made for 85mm lenses. The HS-12 was made for the 50mm f/1.2. It fits a 52mm filter size. I have them both. I use the HS-12 on my A50 f/1.2, works great. See Nikon System Handbook 6th edition, pages 149 through 152 for more information.
