Looking at the specs it says lens is 8x optical zoom with CONSTANT F2 speed. Constant or fixed F2 aperture? what does it do in sunlight? top shutter speed is only 1/250 sec.

Technology not ready for prime time or a solution in search of a problem. I'm guessing the later. Additionally the demographic that they seem to be aiming for is the casual user, (that's my opinion, based entirely on the simplistic design of the camera itself, like a "classic" Kodak Instamatic). Most of those people wouldn't want to mess with image processing software on a computer, after all they have their Cellphone camera which has pretty much everything in focus all the time.
