Subject: Re: Lytro Camera Anyone?

Made a big splash, and sank beneath the waves.

Technology not ready for prime time or a solution in search of a
problem. I'm guessing the later.

Additionally the demographic that they seem to be aiming for is the
casual user, (that's my opinion, based entirely on the simplistic design
of the camera itself, like a "classic" Kodak Instamatic). Most of those
people wouldn't want to mess with image processing software on a
computer, after all they have their Cellphone camera which has pretty
much everything in focus all the time.

Buy a Leica to get the full "Leica Experience", (a quick reduction of funds
in the bank account).
