You'll probably be able to buy new computers with Windows 7 pre-installed as an optional alternative to Windows 8 for quite some time. Most corporate IT departments are in no hurry to start supporting the new OS and will probably put it off (and thereby keep Windows 7 available as an installed option) for as long as they can. When we first moved to Boston 3 years ago Lisa had to get a laptop with XP installed because her IT department wasn't supporting Windows 7 yet! They've just moved to Windows 7 in the past year or two. -- Mark Roberts - Photography & Multimedia www.robertstech.com -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
