Frankly, I think that the Pentax FF is going to be competing pretty directly with the Sony A99 and probably using the same 24MP sensor. Frankly, I'm not sure that the high end of that price range (if that is for body-only) would be enough to keep more Pentax people from dumping equipment and switching to the 36MP Nikon D800/E (at $3000/3200 for the body). If the body was $2500 or less, then I can see a lot of Pentaxians with FF glass sticking around. In any event, this is all a spectator sport for me. I'm very pleased with the K-5 and it will be a long time (if ever) before I exceed its capabilities.
