I think the shutter speed was 1/1000 sec according to the exif. On the *ist D, the default ISO range is 200-1600 and 3200 has to be set as a custom function, so it seems that even Pentax wasn't too keen about using the camera at 3200. (I've just picked up an *ist D myself from a list member (G'day Mark..) so I'm learning as I go here).
