A couple of weeks ago I photographed the annual procession from the Italian
church in London, and posted a picture of an angel.

This is the full set, which I've been unable to edit down below the number
of shots here, sorry. It shows the preparation for the procession, the
procession itself, and the spectators:

Hope you enjoy. Any hints as to how I can best cut it down and turn it into
a tighter essay would be most appreciated.

i especially liked the close-ups of the procession participants, along with a some of the bystanders; i think the bystanders could be a separate essay, trimmed of the less ironic shots, and the procession could stand on its own with only a few group shots and mostly close-ups

alternatively, pair some of the procession close-ups in more direct contrast with bystander shots, e.g. lady bearing umbrella/j.c. bearing cross, black king/man in cardigan, couple in black/mary with babe, woman and girl eating/roman tickling j.c.
