What's the objection to having two DVD drives?  Most systems should be
quite happy with that configuration.


The only real answer is "Because that's what I want."

I'd be just as happy with BlueRay & DVD or DVD & CD-R ... I just don't want DVD & DVD.

That's all. I don't really care if the system is happy with the configuration.

The whole purpose of the system is to make me happy with the configuration.
