The K-7 is sold out in much of the rest of the world already. When
there are just a few units left look to reputable places like B&H to
have blowout sales in the ~$650.00 range. Then they'll be gone except
for the caches that will sometimes show up at unpredictable prices on
e-bay and the like.

IMO it is extremely unlikely. Kr is obviously an upgrade of Kx,
therefore it would have to be purely marketing decision to keep both. I
don't think Pentax has the capacity to /keep/ producing three 16x24
frame cameras and 645D at the same time.
