Kr vs. K7? Similar price now after all.

Subject: Played with a K-r for a couple minutes today.

I stopped by Fry's today for a quick errand. While I was there I checked their
camera display and they had a K-r there, with charged batteries even.

That camera is sweet, what the K-x should have been. It has soft plastic where
your fingers grip, like my K100, which makes it feel so much better. Plus the
visible autofocus indicators are sorely missed on the K-x. On an intellectual
level it's hard to justify the price difference on those two items, but on an
emotional level, if I didn't have a K-x, and had my choice, I'd pay the extra
for them, and, of course the somewhat improved sensor.
