I have an old Cambridge SoundWorks 5.1 System that I bought in 2001 in
a bundle with the then highest spec'ed SoundBlaster Live! Platinum
ultimate blablabla... it has all the ins and outs I need and supports
all kinds of setups so I'm pretty happy. I'm sure there is better than
that today with surround having long ago made it to the mass market
but if you can get one used you'll be happy.
Cheers
Ecke
