I like PS Elements. I am using version 5 -- I can't remember, but think that
was the first version that came with Adobe Bridge.

It allows me to do conversions (I mainly do RAW to JPG), clone, create B&W
versions of my shots, bring up highlights in shadows (once used, you'll love
it), and most of the editing I need. Think they are up to 7 now, but if you
want cheap, look for 5 or 6 on ebay.

I have PSCS, but have never upgraded from version 1, because Elements meets
my needs. I also have Lightroom, but mainly use it as a previewer and file
organizer. For serious editing I use Elements -- you can set up an external
editor on the menu in LR. So I preview and if it needs work I go to Elements.

Just read some reviews on Amazon about Elements, and see what you think.

HTH, Marnie
