Vistek is usually awful service and their pricing often sucks too. But
their stock list is excellent and they typically know a fair bit more
than the guys at Henry's or DC (Found this out when I was looking for
an 4x5" IT8 Transparency target. Vistek was the only local place to
admit they exist).

I scoured the earth a couple of months ago looking for the camera side of the Pentax quick-release that I lost in the burglary last October.

Only one place listed this item and said they had two - Vistek. Ordering online did not work for some reason (US - CA something) so I called. A salesman hadn't a clue, and the manager was not available. Within an hour, the manager called back, sent someone off to make sure they had them (only had one) and shipped it to me that day. Of course, I paid almost as much as a new "set" cost originally.

But they had one, and I got it.

Compare that to the number of shops worldwide who claim to have a Pentax Refconverter-A, and those who actually have one (0).
