I'll admit, i was not totally paying attention to the M scale, but i did on a few.:-)
I was adjusting the shutter as Christine was doing, but i get what you are saying. I looked at the histo's for each, and they showed up as decent curves. Perplexed now. These are jpg's right out of the camera, into iweb, no adjustments. Thanks for taking the time for the comments.
