Limited Supply. Nikon's only making 10k a month and it only launched at the end of November. It's pretty much still wait-list only now. I've got two friends who got them at initial launch and have had a chance to shoot with one a bit. VERY nice camera, screamingly fast, good finder (Not Nikon's best though) and excellent ergonomics. The high ISO performance is incredible, I was shooting at ISO5000 and it looked like ISO560 on my K10D. But overall I think I'd rather have the D300, which is noticably smaller without the grip and has better frame coverage for AF, making those 51 points more useful. Oh, and it's about 1/3 the cost. I would love the combo of a 14-24/2.8 and D300. -Adam -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
