You're remarks, as usual, are rational and considerate to all views. If
this were the case, both on and off list, this would be an even more
pleasant place.
If only everyone who invited critiques actually accepted them with your
grace, and that of the vast majority of participants, this sort of ego
combat wouldn't happen.
My hope is that we can reduce these incidents by being more careful
with our language to insure it is free of a condescending tone.
I apologize for my contribution to the unpleasantness..truly!
