I returned both a Sandisk and a Transcend card under warranty. I had bought the Transcend from New Egg, and they replaced it immediately. No problems. I had purchased the Sandisk card from Adorama. Adorama said I had to return it to Sandisk. Sandisk made me jump through hoops. I had to send them photos of the card before they would give me a return authorization. I expect that Sandisk from New Egg would not be a problem, as the store would replace it. Same for B&H I believe.
