Canon just announced a new (and expensive) Canon
70-200/2.8 USM IS lens that will send the Canon pro
shooters back to their bankers, and leave Nikon shaking
their collective marketing heads, no doubt:

I am wondering if Pentax will *ever* make a lens with
Image Stabilization. I know they are able to
manufacture such a lens; but I'm beginning to doubt
they ever will.

Has anyone heard any rumblings from Pentax about Image
Stabilisation? In my mind, a Pentax AF 1.4x IS Adapter
would be wonderful, especially if it came in an XL
version matched to the FA* 600/4.
