lol ... Actually, it was Richard Day, my friend from Gloucester, that
had the Lowepro Omni Traveler. It seems a very nice bag! I've been
tempted.
My day bag was a Tamrac Superlight 5 ... compact, vertically oriented
shoulder bag. I bought a Lowepro Snap-mouth pouch to fit to it while
we were in Oxford, which does an excellent job of expanding its
capacity and giving me a nice extra space to use when changing
lenses. I fit my memory card wallet to the other accessory bag mount.
It's a very tidy and handy bag, and carries a lot for its size.

It had a
nice, slim profile. This weekend, I'm attending a wedding in
Detroit, and I
don't want to lug a bag that screams "camera geek," especially
since I'll
actually be dressed up for once. :) So I went to the store tonight and
enabled myself with the Lowepro Omni Traveler, which might be the
same one
Godfrey has, or maybe it's one size down. Anyway, when I got it
home, I only
had to remove 3 small dividers to fit my whole kit for the weekend.
Pretty
cool!
So Godfrey, thanks for the idea. It's amazing how I always seem to
learn
about more things to want at these PDML outings. :)
