CDould be in interesting, if not a new, idea.
Everything we se do not really have colours. The colour is in the light that
surrounds us. Ll the objects are really just reflecting light in different
ways/of defferent colours. This is the reason for all WB or Kelvin/colour
temperature questions. If you pre-colour the light, which reflections can be
photographed, I guess this would pretty much produce results, somwhat
similar the those of coloured filters in front of the lens.
I did never try this, but have often thought about it.

Just had a strange idea looking at:

I was wondering if anyone's ever say, taped a red filter over a flash, then
gone ahead and shot a roll of black and white film (e.g. red tomato, green
tomato etc.)that way. I'm probably guessing that the results won't be the
same as say using a Red 25a over your lens, but what exactly -would- you
get? I'll probably get round to trying it out when I've got some time..
