First I tried it with the AF 400T. Here's the results:

Normal direct TTL, definitely overexposed.
-1/2 EV, better but still overexposed
-1.0 EV, better still
Ceiling bounce: overall exposure is better, nearly okay.

Vivitar 6000 AF Macro Flash: All TTL exposures so far seem fine.

All tests were done at ISO 200.

I am disappointed with the performance of the AF 400T because I like this flash. Bruce Dayton reports good performance with it on the *ist D. Bruce, what am I doing wrong?

Has anyone gotten consistently good TTL results with any flash on the *ist D? I am in the market, but hate to spend money on something that may not give reliable results.

Thanks,

Joe
