It all depends if you could put up with the constant mispronunciation!
I think it would be better to have the spelling as people hear the name so that they can look it up easier. Or you introduce yourself as Tan-ja (you know what I mean ;-), but for those who don't, the "j" as in "jam jar")
OTOH, there is something about being the gal who "spells her name weird" ;-)
