Now seriously. Photo shops and labs here have a steady supply of demo digital prints. You can see how a digital image print looks like without having to buy anything. And I suspect that some of those demo images are doctored to look good when printed. So what you'll see is about the best they can do.

Are you basing your opinions about dslr's based on specs and numbers, or have you actually seen any prints? Have you actually used one?
