Ahhhhhhh
The venerable DC120 was what I had back in early 1998 from the auction site
onsale.com for $300.00 USD(eventually taken over by egghead.com who is still
around but powered now by amazon.com - and after just checking.. the site is
still up).

That had a max resoultion of 1280x960. 1.3MP

It was decent for what I wanted it for; which was just some minor web work
but it was quickly surpassed in early 1998 as the rage grew.

Ahhhh..memories...

Not even 1mp Bob.
In 1997 there were 3 digital Kodak cameras available in ThunderBay
Ontario.I bought the middle one the DC25.It was,IIRC,373x478
pixels. My cost at the time was $525 Can including taxes, and they
sold well.The 2mb card cost $100.00 and the last 128meg card i
bought cost $109.For that money now you can get a pretty good P&S
digital,or for that matter a MZ-7 kit up here,and change back<g>
Seems the prices dont change much but you can now get more bang for
your buck.

Remember when 1MP was the rage?
