There were only 3:

Takumar 1000/8, 3 element, nearly a meter long, not a "tele"
Tele-Takumar 1000/8 5 element, only 720mm long, tele.
SMC-Takumar , same as TT, but with SMC coatings.

BTW, checkout my pic in this months PUG. Shot with the
TT 1000/8 right into the sun. No Flare!!
