Yes. About twice, then I gave up in disgust.
Remember a common flatbed has a top res. about 600 dpi so you have a
max. dimension of less than 600x900 pixels from a 35mm slide.
Never tried it with negatives but I suspect it'd be awfully hard to get
good results.
Sharpness I non existent and you have to fiddle a lot to get decent
colors.

My personal comment: forget about it.
