This was done for the April, 2000 gallery: "Normal Black &
White" Mono shots taken with a normal focal length lens.
I'd like to see more of this, however the objection haas been
that not everyone may have a particular focal length lens, and
therefore the gallery might be exclusionary. The 50mm lens
was deemed acceptable because everyone, or most everyone,
would have one.
Personally, I don't subscribe to that point of view. Not
everyone submits to a PUG on any given month for a variety of
reasons, IAC. I'd like to see us work through the primes,
perhaps at the rate of a couple a year, alternating between a
wide angle lens and a longer focal length, like 35mm, 85mm,
28mm, 105mm, 24mm, 135mm, and so forth.
