Well, I still think those akb q701 is a tough one to beat, and on amazon, they're substancially less money than the p7. Not as practical as the p7 for on the go listening, but if you are one of those who owns a good home stereo set up and thus the long cord could even be an advantage, and you won't need a pre-amp to drive them well, then the q701 is a can't miss set of phones IMHO.
