Okay..I'm obviously missing something here! I thought I did see a
"normalization" thing, but don't see it now! I see numbers; I see "flat
button"..but what I don't see is where I'm supposed to change the volume!
Sorry, but need more explanation please!

With the file loaded, press the home key and then b to mark the beginning.
Press the end key and then n to mark the end. Go into the Edit menu and
try the default setting for the gain. Also, you may want to just try
normalizing, which often suffices.
