xm is a bunch of bullshit. you might as well go through soutcast or
maybe live 365 if they are still around. the former is free and the
latter is as well if you can put up with their fucking annoying ads
every song a la pandora.

Not really. If you have a mobile device, you will have better luck
going that route. You have to memorize where stuff is on that. The
web based player is not accessible, beyond logging in, and picking
one channel. After that, it doesn't work really well.
