Ah okay then. Cool. I would be using BDs though. I guess the point of what those guys say is as follows. Let's take Jurrasic Park for an example. We all know the movie was recorded in 5.1, there fore there are only 5 different files assigned to the 5 different speakers. They didn't really add anything new assignments for the 2 extra, so I guess what they are saying even with your example is you are hearing the same thing you've always heard out of the 2 side speakers I guess it would be, but now from the back too? I don't know, like I have said, I haven't really experienced this my self. My friend who has a 7.1 system lives too far to just say, let's go over to Tims and see what's true and what's not. But what I'm saying is, I don't know, maybe I should consider a 7.1 system if it is true and then I do miss out on stuff. I don't know. If any of you have heard a 7.1 movie, please let me know either here or off list if it really true, or if it's just marketing hipe like those guys say.
