Ok. Let me see what i can dig up. I am still certain that winamp with the
right plugins will be your best bet. It's the easiest way for a blind person
to navigate, stop, and play the karaoke songs.
I have had it set up so I can load a playlist file containing all of my
karaoke tracks. I can then use the jump command to find the song i need or
at least type in an artist to see a list of songs. Keep in mind all of these
are still in .zip format without having to uncompress each file. There is a
.zip extension plugin and a karaoke lyrics viewer all available at
winamp.com
I will look around for exact file names and if need be find the files I
still have and get them to you.
Have you tried going to the winamp site and under plugins and typing in
karaoke to see what results come up?

hi guys, I have been asked by friends to be the Jock at their new year

software to play these files?. I realize there are add ons for winamp
and WMP, but I would rather have a dedicated karaoke playing program if
