Ok, tom, and others the usage of a screen reader, which gives out audio
output to let a blind person hear what is being read is most certainly
audio related, how do you expect a person to use the audio products/ other
things that work with audio products such as winamp and the web with out
using a product that has audio output?
not trying to start a fight or argument session here but am trying to
enlighten everyone on the possibility that screen readers use audio to
comunicate the information on screen to blind people.
Sighted people use their eyes to astablish the usage of products and
services which blind people use a screen reader to enjoy their internet
experiences/ other hobbies they partake in.

Are you the moderator of the list Tom, and if so, were you speaking as the
moderator? If that's the case, then I'd suggest you identify yourself as
such when making such a statement. Otherwise, you might just be taken as a
moderator want to be and either ignored or criticized. That's just my
advice.

BTW, I agree that the post in question was off topic, and I don't have any
problem with you pointing that out. As you know though, PC audio is a pretty
pervasive topic, so I think a lot of leniency is called for on such a list,
and in general, I think it's been a pretty lenient list. I don't have a lot
of patience though for people who think absolutely everything is fair game
for this list just because I use a screen reader which happens to use my
sound card. Ditto for people who won't submit to moderation.

The subject is related to Internet Explorer and a screen
reader. Internet Explorer is an Internet browser and not a
piece of audio software.
