I don't get a choice of playback; I am in the "audio" tab and my choices
include, a listing of my two sound cards, volume button then listing of the
default card for several things.  

Admittedly, I'm rather disheartened because I actually have less control
over the playback of this sound card than I did my Realtech.  Kind of wasted
my money.

open sound and audio
control tab twice
choose payback
do a alt p
arrow up and check advance
hopefully an advance button should appear between mute all and wave balance
