Yes, MP3 Gain is still around and thriving. I could be wrong, but I don't think it's been updated in a while. Still, I haven't found anything released more recently that can beat it. I normalize files regularly for my online station and I wouldn't use anything else.

Hi Brian. You might want to consider using MP3 Gain. The program is free and
it's the best that I know of for normalizing files. With it, you can
normalize an entire folder. All aspects of the program can be accessed with
a screen reader.

I have a large collection of mp3 files I want to normalize, so they can be used in a selv playing environment. It's required that the volume of the files is about equal.
can easy cd-da extracter do this, or do I need other tools?
also a more detailed description of how exactly I can do this.
