High Bob, I have a DELL desk-top. It came loaded with a Sound Max sound card. I had that same problem. So I got another sound card so that I could hear what I was recording and or mixing down on my computer. If your Gateway is a desk-top, you may want to invest in an internal sound card. >From what I understand, there are many to choose from. My best regards. John. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bobcat" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC Audio Discussion List" <pc-audio@pc-audio.org> Sent: Monday, March 10, 2008 8:17 AM Subject: Re: sound editing?
